IN-CORE and Community Support

Shape resilience with models and grant applications.

Project IN-CORE is the non-profit arm that leverages the IN-CORE modeling platform to provide community support and services.

Using IN-CORE models, communities can see how different natural hazard scenarios specifically impact its populations, local and regional economy, education, critical services, infrastructure, government functions, transportation networks and utility networks.

IN-CORE models demonstrate the ways that natural hazards affect these community aspects in multiple and interconnected ways; such as how damage to business may disrupt employment and income, or how flooding will generate debris that would impact the usability of roads and the movement of recovery resources.

Communities can receive support from Project IN-CORE in developing their own community models, grants such as FEMA Building Resilience Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Grants, resilience for Community Disaster Resilience Zones (CDRZ) and more by contacting Project IN-CORE.
